Lyme disease CAN be congenital. Do not spread misinformation number 560, this is bad for public. Dr. Jones has seen generations of families with the disease. We have also passed it on to our children. This is a fact. Please do not comment unless you have walked a mile in a lyme families shoes. Thank you Devin for your inspiration.

FYI check out the ILADS website and their information from their 2009 conference held in DC and wellworth seeing is the documentary Under Our Skin. You may change your mind. You need to correct some misinformation on your site. LD can NOT be transmitted from pregnant mothers to their children. Also, the Lyme disease vaccine WAS an effective way to prevent the infection, even though it is no longer available.

You are blessed with a family that understands and knew what to do. I didnt know and gave this disease to my three girls. This is great information and I will be sending this to my children's nurse at school. It's hard for us sometimes because people dont understand - they think we are faking being sick. We started treatment now going on two months and it has been hard but the last 22 years has been hard also. Bless you and your family!!
